In this Learning Lab, featuring content from our Perfectionism topic module, we will explore the relationship between perfectionism, self-compassion, and goal setting. We will differentiate between high standards and perfectionism, and identify three distinct types of perfectionism while examining trends among college students. Lastly, we will introduce activities designed to help students reframe their thoughts about internal and external pressures, build resilience and self-acceptance, and enable them to navigate perfectionism and foster a healthier approach to productivity and well-being.
