Making Stress Work for You: An Experiential Learning Lab

When college students learn to develop a more positive relationship with stress, they not only achieve better academic outcomes and performance but also experience less distress compared to their overwhelmed peers. Stress naturally arises whenever we invest in something we value, as it serves as a powerful motivator. During this 30-minute session, Dawn Bornheimer, on behalf of U-Thrive Educational Services, will guide us through various co-curricular activities that can be utilized by facilitators. We will also discuss practical strategies for implementing these activities and ways in which you can support your students in becoming better equipped to manage their everyday stressors.
